This piece is from my textile sketch series where I focused on simple compositions using vintage textiles and lots of textures.
Autumn Tree is made with vintage French textiles and lace, and linen. It has a mix of machine stitching and lots of hand stitched details using hand dyed cotton and wool threads.
Details:
the collage measures 4.5 inches tall x 2.75 inches wide and is framed without glass in an arched handmade Ukrainian wood frame
the outside dimensions of the frame are 6.25 inches tall x 4.25 inches wide x .75 inches deep
there’s a wire on the back to hang it on a wall or it could be displayed on a shelf
