Textiles are both elegant and ordinary. Like life they weave together emotion and memory. My work is inspired by nature, everyday things and art history. I create collages with textiles and thread using a mix of vintage, new and hand dyed materials stitched with a simple mechanical sewing machine or by hand. I don’t use paint or glue to make my collages, just fabric and thread.
