"The colors in nature, locally grown food and the landscape
around me are things I find inspiring. I choose to represent these themes in two different mediums - painting and collage. I find painting plein air landscapes to be peaceful and challenging, but I also like the quickness of making a collage with a sewing machine and cotton hand dyed fabrics".

Happy Mother's Day,
It's a beautiful weekend here in southern New Hampshire. I've been painting en plein air as much as possible lately. The painting on the right is one in a series of paintings I did at Mud Pond (somedays that's a perfect name for it) in Dublin NH. "Lemons" is my latest larger fabric collage.
I am really honored to have been chosen as one of the contributing artists for Sharon Arts Center's CSArt Project. Shares are for sale for original art...

I'm a fine artist living in New Hampshire. I paint landscapes and still lifes in oil and make fabric collages using vintage and new hand dyed and batik fabrics.

I have another sketchbook on tour
with The Art House Co-op sketchbook project.
This one is full of paper and fabric collages. It's been to Brooklyn, New York, just left Chicago and is now in Portland, OR. Next stop is Vancouver, BC. It's been really fun following the tour and getting updates on who is looking at my sketchbook. www.thesketchbookproject.com
